Al Mashreq Eye Center would like to proudly announce its bimonthly scientific meeting agenda for the year of 2022. Join us on this journey of scientific discussion, debates, practice recommendations, and visiting the latest in each field. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced ophthalmologist, you will surely find something to your taste!
Our plan for this year is different and unique. We will be running two sessions with two different themes every month. The first session will be part of a larger theme (Stepwise course) designed to help you master a Blackbox subspecialty in ophthalmology: Uveitis.
These monthly sessions will start from the basics in the field and build on them every month till the attendees feel confident enough approaching a full case by the end of the course year. Our dedicated uveitis service is one of the few in the region and has received many interesting cases along the years, which helped us build a systematic approach in managing the different presentations. The other monthly session will address a different topic each month. This will either include interesting case(s) that we encountered in our practice and that we believe would stimulate discussion within the field, or a review of the literature on an emerging topic to help practitioners grasp it more easily and remain up to date on their knowledge.
